Scotchgard protector is either applied during manufacture or in your home by a Professional.

With wear from dirt and traffic, the carpet's protection wears away with time. We recommend periodic cleaning at least once a year with a deep extraction machine and reapplying Scotchgard Protector after each instance. This will help extend your carpets life and make it easier to clean.

Our Scotchgard products repel liquid spills, help eliminate stains (both oil and water based stains) and protect against resoiling without changing the look or feel of the carpet/rug/fabric. It works by locking onto each carpet fiber to create an invisible, durable shield.

Scotchgard is safe for use on any carpet, rug and fabric that can be cleaned with water (Some may have a "clean ability code" - "W" or "WS" would indicate it is safe to be cleaned with water), however, we do not recommend this product for use on oriental rugs (the variability between manufacturers and the occasional use of food dyes can produce unusual and unpredictable results).
